Ka Bel reporting

                 

                Me and my group mates divided the given questions by our teacher, Mrs. Agaton. And I am the one who will answer question C that is “Have you ever formed any organization? Or have you ever been a member of an organization? Share the details. Have you ever joined any political group or organization? Share the details.” At first I really wasn’t nervous because the question was given to me was very easy so when its my turn to report in front I answered the question like this “No, I didn’t formed any organization but i’ve been a member of an organization and that organization is “MYC” or Ministry of Youth Catechists It was an organization in our Church that we catechists teaches children about the word of God every Sunday at 4pm in the afternoon inside the church and after we teach them, we attend the mass with the children seated beside us. We have lots of activities for the children specially when there’s an occation like christimas party, fiestang pambata,esther Sunday, summer cath.”

                I really prepared a word doc and I also had the picture of our organization for my classmates and my teacher could see it. And after my report, My teacher Mrs. Agaton now calls me “Catechist”. 

My family, my everything

          “Family means everything” This is one of my favorite family picture because that is the last Christmas that are family is complete and that’s our last Christmas with my grandmother because months after she passed away by then. That time were so happy and enjoying our Christmas program. Because every Christmas or birthday parties we have programs or family gathering. Im lucky to have them in my life. They are the one who is inspiring me to finish my studies because my family is a very supportive one.  I really admire them so much because in our family, you have to be strong and smart enough to face every problem. We dont fight and argue.  We play “bingo” for us to bond and to enjoy with each other.
When my grandmother passed away, our Family isn’t complete anymore. Were not as many as the picture now. Many of our Family members don’t attend in our family bondings and gatherings. They have their own and many reasons like their busy in school and they have lots of work to do. I do really miss them a lot specially my grandmother who’s always smiling at me and giving me hugs and kisses everytime we see each other. But even thou we dont bond and see each other more often, we still communicate and catch up with each other.

Group Reportage

       

         When we tackled the story “The House on Zapote Street”, Mrs. Agaton our 21st Century teacher grouped us and ask us to research a crime and share it to the group, so me and my group mates shared our researched crime that we got in the internet. All of us had a chance to speak and to share his/her crime. And our teacher told us that we should choose one crime that is the most cruel one and we will report it in front just like a reporter. We will act like a reporter in a TV screen. So me and my group mates
had decided one crime and we made a Television Screen and a microphone for our props because it has plus points I think.
We divided our works  like who will be the reporter, who will document it, who will hold the Tv screen and who will video it. So I assigned myself that I will be the one who will video it and I already uploaded it on our Fb page. Our Presentation went good. It was a great experience to us because my and me groupmates enjoyed the activity that Mrs. Agaton gave us.

Monyeka

 Just like in the story that we tackled titled Monyeka, Cita, one of the characters in the story is collecting dolls, but me I collect my perfume and its bottle also. I love those people who are giving me perfumes because whenever I go out, I need to smell good. I dont know even if Im inside the house I still put perfume on me. I love my perfumes so much, even thou its bottle is empty, I will still keep it because its a memory of someone who gave it to me, My Mother was the first one who brought me a perfume, my 1^st perfume came from bench .

Even if the perfume is for boys? If I liked the smell of it. I will buy it or get it. I dont know why I love putting on perfumes. Maybe just because I wanted to smell good always. My favorite perfume is “fruit fave”, My sister gave it to me, She brought that at Penshoppe on my 17^th birthday. I love receiving gifts specially when it is a perfume. I put perfume on my handkerchiefs and to my stuff toys also.

           Monday, September 16,2017, the date when I planted my Green bean with the help of my Mother.Green beans is a vegetable which is long, green, nutritious and delicious. I planted green beans because i really love “adobong sitaw” specially when my Mother cooks it for me. Green beans is good to our health because reduced risk of heart disease and colon cancer, as well as an improved regulation of diabetes, It can also provide benefits to the health of your eyes and bones, while regulating your digestive processes. It has also vitamins and minerals in it.

            I planted it in front of our house, at first my plant is not getting enough sunlight so I decided to put my plant in our rooftop where it is hot so that it could get sunlight and vitamins from the sun. Im not checking my plant everyday at the rooftop but this evening I decided to take a look at it because I will sprinkle it with water and I was amaze when I saw my plant has already grown. Im so happy that time so I decided to took my plant home to take a picture of it with my Mother in front of our house. For now, I put on sticks in my plant so the green beans will grow taller and it will climb to the sticks and to have support. I have to take care of my plant for the exhibit. 

Critique Paper of Puppy love by Francisco Sionil Jose

Puppy love by Francisco Sionil Jose. The author Francisco is best known for his epic work. The story talked about an innocent kind of love and mistaking it for true love. The story started that there was this village boy who fell in love with the daughter of the richest man in town, and the boy fell inlove with the girl at an early age so it is called puppy love.

Then,the war came and they were separated the boy's most lasting memory was that morning they went to their rice bodega to play. There was a big rattan basket where the grain was stored. They climbed into it. The girl was reading Wuthering Heights and eating an apple, the boy was very poor he had never tasted an apple before.

The story ended that the boy and the girl are still inlove with each other even tho they are been seperated for years and not seeing each other. But the love lasted because the boy got married to another girl so all the love of the boy is now into his wife. The story puppy love was an unique story for me. It taught me that, there is no lasting love.

Jacobo Salcedo a.k.a Jake is an a successful and rich lawyer but  came from a poor family . He is inspired and motivated to be sucessful to fulfill his dreams and goals in life so that he could have a better life.
Gina Garcia was a mestiza, she’s fluent in speaking Spanish, and loves to read novels and her favorite is Wuthering Heights. Gina came from a rich family who owns a big hacienda in San Jacinto but lost their wealth due to war.

The two characters are the one who is inlove with each other in an early age and early stage. And they called it puppy love because it refers to falling in love at a very young age, the feeling was there for a long time but it wasn't  true love after all.

The author Francisco Sionil Jose wrote puppy love so that the readers would learn some lesson about the story and to know the real meaning of puppy love. The settings in the stroy is in the twon of San Jacinto where Gina and Jake grow and met.

The setting changed the behavior of the character, like Jake Salcedo when he moved in the city of Manila, when he moved in the city, he was inspired to be a better and a ricch person. He finished his studies there and became a lawyer.

It gets told by narrating the detailed story of puppy love and I can easily identify who are the characters, the setting, the climax and the lesson that is being told also. I can identify it by reading and understading the story, well the story is can be easily understood by who is reading it. It  is a simple yet unique story I’ve read. The author Francisco Jose worte a story that everyone can relate to because it is all about love. And everyone in the world has love.

The information that the narrator is giving me is really helping me to understand more the story being read. The narrator detailed the important happenings in the story. I can easily understand it well.  

The informations revealed in the story are its settings, characters, plot, climax, and the lesson its teaching and telling me and the readers also. One lesson I got is that never miss any chances in life. Because chances are not unlimited.

The one telling the story is the narrator or it can be the one who is reading the story. The speaker itself can relate to the story.

The purpose of the title puppy love is having a love in an early age or being inlove in an early stage but the feelings lasted but its not true love. Title itself decribes the summary of the story

The title is being related to the story because simply, it is all about love.
An image symbolizes the story while im reading it is an image of the clock that is 12am in the morning. Meaning that its too early, its too early for everything especially its too early being inlove.
The story is very easy to understand because it has no deep words and other languages that  I dont understand, only english language is being used in the story. Maybe it has no deep words but the story has a very deeper meaning and it can give me and the readers some lessons not only in love but in life also. It is teaching me to strive harder in life so that I could my goals and dreams in the future. And it also teach me not to waste any chances in life, because chances only comes once in our lives.

The story puppy love is a clear point that has a meaning of having love in an early age and early stage in life, the love lasted but its not true love. The story isnt hard to discover its true meaning because the title speaks already itself.

The author Francisco Sionil Jose is telling us to read his work puppy love because in this story we can actually relate into it and it has many lessons in life that we can apply it on ourselves. The story can also give us motivation and inspiration in life. The author wrote this story to know the difference of puppy love and having true love.

I was surprised in the scene where Jake saw Gina in a bar as a hostess but still Jake didnt take advantage to her even tho Jake still love Gina that time.
